In an Atta Chakki plant, a reel machine (often called a centrifugal sifter, inline sifter, or rotary reel) serves a very different purpose than a giant plansifter used in a roller flour mill. It is used for two primary functions: cleaning raw wheat before grinding and grading/sifting the finished flour afterward.

The Pre-Cleaner is the definitive machine for solving pre-cleaning problems. It serves a dual purpose: high-capacity primary cleaning and milling grain (at a controlled speed). Its construction features a durable steel structure combined with a precision laminated wood sieve boat for superior performance and stability.

This Separator efficiently removes both coarse and fine impurities from grain through precise screening, and is highly effective at classifying a broad range of materials by size. Beyond its primary role in grain handling, the Separator is also successfully utilized in feed mills, seed cleaning plants, oilseed cleaning, and cocoa bean grading.

The BMG’s Stone Separator is engineered for the efficient separation of high density foreign matter including stones, pebbles, and glass from the grain stream. Its versatility extends to processing rye, rice, and soybeans, in addition to wheat and corn. Throughput capacity varies based on the product and contamination level.

The Inclined dampener B-ID is a versatile wheat milling component, using a specialized rotor system to achieve intensive yet gentle dampening of wheat kernels, capable of adding up to 5% moisture per cycle. It is also essential for mixing flours (homogenization) and for precisely adjusting the moisture content of flours and brans.

The Intensive Scourer is a specialized grain cleaning machine used primarily in flour mills for intensive surface cleaning of wheat kernels. Precision Scouring Depth: Engineered to precisely scour the wheat kernel surface, removing impurities down to the testa (for flour) or aleurone (for semolina) layer to optimize raw material quality.

The intensive dampener B-IDI is a versatile wheat milling component, using a specialized rotor system to achieve intensive yet gentle dampening of wheat kernels, capable of adding up to 5% moisture per cycle. The Emery Roll Machine is a critical component of the cleaning and conditioning section. While machines like reel sifters or vibro-separators remove external impurities, the emery roll machine cleans the surface of the wheat grain. It uses an abrasive stone cylinder to gently scour the outer layers before the wheat goes to the Chakki for grinding.
